there are occasionally a few places available for one-term
employment. COUNSELOR ORIENTATION stars two weeks before
campers arrive; all counselors are expected to attend this
orientation. Employment will extend two days beyond the campers'
Closing Day.

NOTE: Heart staff members must be able to observe, participate with,
and safely
supervise all camp activities, including rough terrain rescue. Staff
members must be
able to communicate well, for purposes of instruction, safely, and
written reports.
Female staff members live in camp cabins with girls 6-16. Counselors
must conform
to arbitrary standards of appearance, including restrictions on visible
body piercings.
