The Heart” is a special place. We have a 1:4
ratio of counselors to campers; we are a small camp, so everyone gets to
know each other well by the end of the session.
We have three sessions: you may work all, one, or two.
We prefer counselors to work at least two sessions each summer.

All counselors are required to attend orientation beginning
late May.
The
two-week orientation will include training and certification courses.
All counselors live with campers in “tepees” which are air-conditioned cabins, and are responsible for all aspects of their campers’ well being. In addition, they teach activities during the day and assist in evening activities.
We have girls ages 6-16; they all take horseback riding (English or Western), Red Cross swimming, and field sports; we offer them dance, drama, canoeing, riflery, archery, arts, sign language, tennis, calligraphy, needlework, crafts, cheerleading, gymnastics, synchronized swimming, and more!
Each
prospective counselor should submit the following:

Once we receive your completed application forms, we will want to arrange an interview with you; we do these over the phone when a personal interview is not possible.
