Over the past two days I have had some of our 2013 summer counselors and head staff here at camp to help with the brainstorming process of planning camp. We had a great time hanging out with each other and talking about one of our favorite topics: CAMP! One of the big things we decided at this year’s planning retreat was the 2013 field day themes! I am very excited to announce them at this time:
Celebrity (A Sessions)
Lights, Camera, Action! It’s time to roll out the red carpet for our first field day. All Heart Girls are on the A List and the spotlight is on you. Today’s the day you can dress as your favorite celebrity and get the VIP treatment. Dress to impress because the paparazzi will be your biggest fan!
Board Games (B Sessions)
Pick a card and roll the dice! Travel through the Gumdrop Mountains with Princess Lolly, but don’t forget Mr. Monopoly. You might run into Col. Mustard along the way, so cross your fingers that he doesn’t sink your Battleship or you’ll be SORRRRRRY! LIFE’s the game here at Heart O’ the Hills. Get your sneakers ready for this year’s running field day and may you move four spaces forward and no spaces back!
I can’t wait to see everyone’s costumes and creativity! There are so many different things you could dress up as for this year’s field day themes. Myself and the rest of the head staff are hard at work planning our costumes and entrances!
