Staff is here.
Can you believe it? It’s already the end of May, counselors are on camp, the dining hall is buzzing with songs, and the river is filling up with splashes and laughter.
It’s camp season, y’all.
It’s go time.
We are so excited about this summer staff and beyond ready for you to meet them! We have no doubt in our minds that the counselors this summer will make you love camp even more than you already do (if that’s possible!). We know they are stoked to be here and anxious for those gates to open just like you are!
We’ve got girls from South Africa, Mexico, Scotland, England, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and those good ole Texas ladies ready for you! <3

Your counselors are here and ready for summer at The Heart!
This week is all about clinics and our counselors are taking in all the information being tossed their way. From sun up to sundown our ladies are on the go!
We are underway and hitting the Guadalupe one Lifeguard tube at a time! Our WSI girls (Water Safety Instructor) are getting ready to teach your girls how to swim all over the river. Our Lifeguards are getting the ins-and-outs on how to keep the girls safe and did we mention that Horseback is over at Stewart learning anything and everything about what horse life is like at camp.
All during this week we will be continuing clinics so we are in tune with all the safety regulations and know as much as physically possible to create a summer those campers will have a summer they never forget.
Next week the rest of our counselors will arrive as we begin the all-mighty orientation and your head staff is busily underway to make sure that the schedule is not only informational but entertaining as well.
Having staff on camp makes the grass a little greener, sky a little blue, and our hearts a lot happier. Camp has come alive again and now all we need is our CAMPERS! We hope you’ve got the countdowns ready and rolling because we do!!!
Don’t worry, the camp days are coming. We’ve got counselors on camp to prove it. <3
