wedding this fall. Ever since camp has ended we have just been getting so excited planning for her BIG DAY! In order to get ready for the big day, I hosted a bridal shower for Monique right here at Heart O’ the Hills! Oh man did we have a good time!
We transformed the patio room in the lodge into a Caribbean getaway. There were bright colored flowers and decorations everywhere! Monique’s mom even made us Caribbean dresses so that Monique and I would be festive as well. They were so cute! I just loved wearing mine around! One of the best parts was all of the wonderful food that Chef Dave prepared for the shower. It was a feast fit for a “Queen.” The arrangements were beautiful and just added so

much decoration to our Caribbean theme! With Jimmy Buffet playing in the background all of Monique’s friends and family joined in to celebrate her upcoming big day. We had many camp friends stop by, including former Heart counselors and our friends from Vista and Camp Chrysalis. Monique received some amazing gifts that will be perfect in helping her to fill her new house here at Heart O’ the Hills.
