Counselor chats, nurse chats, and trading post information update.
In following up with camper families of 2020, we learned a few things about Opening Day that could be improved upon.
- Often camper families want to have a conversation with their camper’s counselor, or the camp nurse.
- Sometimes families want to buy their camper’s clothing in person.
- And for our new campers, families just want to know that they are all settled into their cabins!
So this time around, we offer these solutions:
- New Camper Phone Calls
This year we have a specific staff member whose job it is to oversee new camper wellbeing. Before the term, and periodically throughout the term, you will receive a call with an update on your camper. We hope these calls will help address any concerns you may have throughout the term.
- First Night Cabin Photos
After everyone has arrived and had a chance to unpack, our photographers will go around and take photos of every cabin to make sure you can see what cabin life looks like for your camper. While we can not promise an individual photo of every camper, we will do our best to get everyone in front of the camera!
